Outstanding Funeral Home! I want to personally thank the Joe Morris staff for their hardworking they have done. You ALL are a blessing to my family during our bereavement of time. I was very impressed on the 2 young ladies that work there. From the time-being I was at the funeral home, I think they are twins. They are very respectful, polite, and sweet!! I look forwarding to seeing them when coming to the funeral home.

Joe Morris has been the “go to” funeral home for my entire family for years. However in January of 2021 I had my own personal experience with them as I had to bury my mother. Gerremy and Ray did a fantastic job with the entire process. I seriously wouldn’t have been able to do this without their help. They did such a awesome job that unfortunately I had to use Joe Morris again as I buried my sister in February. The entire team was so considerate and everything was very personable. If you are in the Pensacola area and looking for a funeral home that will take care and pride in your loved one, look no further. Ask for Gerremy and he will make sure everything is beyond your expectations.

My family have used Joe Morris for as long as I can remember and over the years the service continues to decline. Our love one passed and the family selected Joe Morris. We scheduled an appointment and ended up waiting an hour to be serviced. We were seated in a hallway where constant traffic walked passed us. We were also in an area to hear every conservation taking place. I expected more from an establishment being in business as long asnthey have. Totally unacceptable!nnWhen I spoke to Mr. Hawkins about the dissatisfaction, rather than take responsibility he wanted to argue about an appointment meaning “we will try to take you at that time, like a doctor’s appointment “. Unbelievable. No wonder the funeral home is ran the way it is...it starts from the top.

This is the worst funeral home do not trust them to take care of your loved ones needs. My father passed on December 16th and it is February 19th and I have been waiting patiently on them to contact a funeral home out of state who transported my father to their funeral home and request copies of his death certificate that has already been paid for. I called today and was told by someone there that I needed to contact the owner Mr. Hawkins and he would either contact someone else to get it done or call that person I spoke to and they would then do it. How dare you make me call the owner and you not say you will call and make sure it gets taken care of. How dare you put that responsibility on the family of the deceased.nnWhat you don’t know is my late mother worked as a pre-need counselor so I am very versed on how things should be handled in this line of work and I will tell you I will never allow another family member of mine have to deal with this funeral home ever again. From the time my father’s body reached the funeral home it has been one thing after another with them. The fact that Gerremy seems to be the only person who is left to take of things and no one else seems to think it’s within their job description to assist infuriates me. Learn how to work as a team that is the biggest issue here. How dare you be so unorganized during such a difficult time. I hope for anyone who is reading this takes fare warning spare yourself, please.

We had a loved one pass away in Pensacola, and being from Houston, we didn't even know where to start with the funeral process. Morris Joe and Son Funeral Home made us feel so welcomed, and helped us every step of the way. They exceeded our expectations. The owner went above and beyond to help us through the process and we are forever grateful to him and his staff.
