I signed up for the Wellness plan which did nothing for my boxer during an emergency when he swallowed a ball. I was sent away to a different Banfield which charged me over $700 for X-rays and blood work. They ultimately missed the ball in my dogs stomach and sent him home on his death bed. I got a second opinion at the Coral Springs Animal Hospital which immediately found the ball after repeating the same procedures banfield performed. My dog went into emergency surgery and survived. Fast forward a month later I realized I had forgotten to pick up my dogs heart worm medicine that which I paid for! I called and was told that I could not pick them up until I performed my yearly vet visit and was told that I cannot pick up his medicine until he performs another heart worm test because it’s been over 3 months since he took his last test. Not sure why he would need a yearly visit if he’s not even a year old! Then I was abruptly cut off several times. Not only are they lacking in customer service but they aren’t even good at diagnosing illness for your dog. Definitely taking my dog to Coral Springs Animal Hospital and avoiding this place.

I would 100% recommend them i called them regarding an issue with my cat Ellie spay surgery and they took my information and told me that i could go right away to drop her off , Ellie was ready and completely fine in a couple hours . the staff was really attentive and nice . great place overall

Banfield Pet Hospital in Coral Springs and Margate are both great. They really care for your pets. They’re always calling to check on my baby Journey. I’ve never experienced anything like that. Their professionalism and care is through the roof. If you’re looking for assistance with your pets check them out. Now, it says ‘hospital,’but they don’t do everything that most pet hospitals do. They also don’t really provide pet insurance, it only covers tests and such that they do there and vaccines and such. So if that’s what you’re looking for they’re great. If you’re looking for more like, survey and other more serious assistance check with an actual insurance company or most pet hospitals offer payment assistance.

I took chewy in because he was not eating.. I do not like leaving him there, but had to because of tests being ran.. The vet was nice.. best one I think of all the vets there.. however he was released, and once we got home i got a call from nurse stating they released him without his treatment and to come back. Since he has such high anxiety we didnt want to put him back in the car.. He was still anxious already so they said come in morning. In my opinion they should have came to house. But, when I called in the morning to let them know i was coming, they asked me what shot he needed. I stated i dont know, you should know.. Dont you have it in your records. Front staff woman was very condescending and when i asked to speak to office mgr, she laughed at me before saying ok and transferring me. Office mgr was very helpful and apologetic which i appreciated. But i will not be taking chew back to this Banfield. How dare a staff member laugh at a customers concerns about her pets health??? Completely unacceptable and down right hurtful. Not to mention none of my procedures were covered under my plan and I ended up paying over $600!!!! What do i pay monthly for? I may as well take him out of Banfield all together and go back to Brookside where they have compassion for the pets and their owners! I dont even know if I should trust the diagnosis of pancreatitis. They are so all over the place there and you never have the same Dr or nurse. Every time I go its someone else and they never refer back to previous records. Ive taken him multiple times and I always have to make sure I let Vet and nurse know of previous issues which in my opinion they should already know! I tell them and theyre like, Ohhh ok.. Im thinking dont you have his records in front of you? Terrible Experience.. I'd give 0 stars if i could!!!!
