My best friend Marilyn Warren passed and was taken care of by Duncan Brothers Funeral Home. It was the nicest, most spiritual service I have ever attended. Marilyn looked beautiful and at rest. The carriage was the icing on the cake. Absolutely beautiful. Thank u Duncan Brothers. U did the best service for her. No one could have done better.
Duncan Brother;s has laid to rest so many members of my family and when it's time for me to go I am sure they will lay me to rest as well. The hardest and most touching however was my daughter Kizzie. If you have ever lost a child you know how devastating that can be and if you haven't I pray you never do. The Duncan Brother's staff not only made the process bearable they made it for lack of a better word special. They were attentive, sincere and caring. Iris checked on me often and she made sure every i was dotted and t was crossed concerning my wishes. Her daughter Desmon told me she would personally do my daughter's hair (she had such beautiful hair) and she did an exceptional job. I could not have been more pleased. Desmon has recently won a seat on the city commission, if the care and graciousness she showed myself and the care she took with my daughter is any indication we are in great hands. Congratulations Desmon! Duncan Brother's has been on the corner of 5th Ave all my life, for a caring, dignified service for your loved one. The are the best.
