It's always a pleasure working with Sara and Jason! As a cake designer it's important to work closely with florist and planners to make sure my contribution to the wedding fits in seamlessly. I'm always excited when I get to work with The Faded Poppy because I know that every detail is covered and the couple is definitely in good hands. I have had the pleasure of working several times with Jason and Sara and I am never disappointed. They are an amazing team and are always a joy to work with. Jason is one of the kindest souls I have ever worked with in the wedding industry. As you imagine weddings are very stressful. Working with Sara and Jason was honestly one of the easiest parts of planning my wedding (and there's not a lot of easy in planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic). They were responsive, professional, kind, helpful, and willing to work with my budget to come up with beautiful pieces. They were also flexible enough to work with me as we changed our plans (and when I forgot something!) And the ability to have a smooth contact free pick-up was appreciated. These two and how everything turned out was absolutely wonderful!

We know Sara and Jason on two levels. First, they created my wedding bouquet. Not only was it beautiful, and exactly what I wanted, but it was created and delivered during a time that was personally difficult for their family. The fact that Sara and Jason could still follow through on this detail for me speaks volumes about their commitment to their clients, in spite of whatever else is happening in the world or in their lives. We did not know them well at the time, and this gave us a deep appreciation for them from the start.nnWe also have a relationship with Sara and Jason, because we own a local wedding venue. When our couples book The Faded Poppy for wedding coordination, we breathe a sigh of relief and automatically feel more confident about the event going smoothly. So many couples underestimate the amount of work and stress that it is to pull off a wedding. Sara and Jason have all of the qualities that you need to be amazing wedding coordinators. They are professional and skilled at their craft. They are well connected and know the ins and outs of venues, contracts, and vendors. They are experienced and able to handle gracefully any surprises that arise (and trust me, it never goes the way you think it will.) They are 100% committed to their couples. You won’t find them off around the corner, missing something important because they are distracted. Most importantly, they care deeply about people. They will do everything in their power to make your wedding beautiful and the least stressful that is possible, because they care about the people involved. I've known Sarah and Jason for years, and though they have not planned a wedding for me, I've been in the mercantile several times, and the store is adorable, well-organized, and a lot of things are reused/ecofriendly (like the reusable shelf price tags, paper bags etc.). I would also like to personally dispute the recent one-star review of Jason. Jason is one of the most polite people I've ever known, and he is incapable of yelling. I can't even imagine him getting visibly frustrated.
