Several months ago we went to Dr Oberthaler when our older feline rescue was diagnosed with a rare cancer. With further tests, Dr. Oberthaler explained the cancer had spread with a grim prognosis. She offered us honesty and guarded hope with targeted therapy and assurance our cat wasn’t suffering. She was responsive and kind with my many follow up calls and questions. While the therapy sadly did not work and our cat progressed quickly, her knowledge, care and compassion meant so much to us. After our cat’s passing, Dr Oberthaler took the time to write a heartfelt note which I will never forget. Boulder is lucky to have such a high caliber vet specialist.
Dr. Oberthaler is an excellent oncologist, who cares deeply for her patients! She treated our sweet orange tabby for 2 years for his multiple myeloma. Dr. Oberthaler has a level of expertise and compassion that are exactly what you want in an oncologist for your beloved furry family members.nWe knew our boy was in great hands at Treeline and the oncology technicians were always friendly, kind, and helpful.
