This vet is a Godsend! My hubby and I have 2 new tuxedo kittens. Needed to find a vet that was personable, clean office, professional, that would treat our babies like they were the most important things in our lives. Found that and more with Dr. Aanestad. He and his staff are caring people. We just had the kittens spayed....great surgery. Explained everything to us thoroughly . Even called to check on them after this and other visits. I found a stray kitten that was extremely sick, Athens veterinary was not accepting walk ins but told them my situation how bad the kitten was and they agreed to see him. Extremely nice & caring people, I couldn’t thank the employees enough for there service. I would recommend this vet to anyone!nThank you guys so much!!

Dr. Aanestad was an absolute godsend today when my mischievous cat managed to under estimate an apparently formidable opponent while on a forbidden outdoor adventure! I called this morning after discovering an abscess on my little scrapper last night and the Dr made time to see him the same day! All other vets in the area were unavailable for days or even weeks, including the vet we were already established with! Athens Vet Clinic really proved themselves as a cut above the rest for my family with their grace, patience and passion for service. Dr. Aanestad saw my cat at closing time, after a full day of patients, and still made time to build rapport with me and handle my babe's needs absolutely thoroughly! As if that wasn't impressive enough, my bill was unbelievably affordable! For an after hours new patient appointment which included a thorough workup, cleaning/shaving/assessing a very deep wound, administering an extended release antibiotic injection, and ointment to use at home, the total came out to just $100! I expected to spend significantly more, and certainly would have at our usual veterinary practice.nnThank you for your kindness, Athens Veterinary Clinic! You have won the loyalty of our family for a long time to come.nnTLDR- Vet saw new patient same day, gave excellent care and was very affordable. 10/10 would recommend.
