I did not have a vet for my cat as she has been indoor for 8 years. When she got sick Walworth Animal hospital took her as a patient when no one else would. They got her in quickly anytime I needed them and helped her to recovery. I will always be grateful for their service as busy as they are they found the time.

I have taken my senior rescue dog here and ended up waiting over an hour to be seen. My apt for my dog was at 10 A.Am and they took over 25 dogs in before I was seen at 11:15. She had poor oral health which is causing ear infections left and right and the liquid applications don’t stay in her ear when she shakes. I have request a gel form multiple times but have never got any prescribed. I had paid $135 to have her ears cleaned out and get medication to only find her ears weren’t fully cleaned out and she was in pain for 3 days afterwards.

Had to put down my baby girl yesterday and they brought us in the back door into a basement storage area to do the thing, not homey by all means. Dr hines tried to make it a bit better by supplying a blanket for her to lay on and to do his thing. Because of covid I'm assuming it's the only way but I was mortified to say the least,my baby girl deserved better than this but she's no longer in pain thank u dr hines for trying but there should be better accomodations for this

Chrissy Wade Roach-nnI can’t believe I have to share this, but to spare another family, I am.nnDo not put your pet’s care in the hands of Walworth Animal Hospital.nnIn an effort to understand how a young, healthy dog could die, John Roach started asking questions. How could a digestive blockage be missed on the x-ray that Scout had on Monday night?nnOn Monday night, I was told by the attending vet that she could see no blockage. Scout’s digestive lining looked sensitive and like she ate something she shouldn’t have, but it had passed through. If she didn’t get better, we were to return. It could also be a virus. For now, just give her a bland diet, which was also listed on the discharge paperwork. No urgency. Nothing critical. Go home.nnShe started to improve on Tuesday but then regressed on Tuesday night after hours. Because we thought we were dealing with a virus, we scheduled an appointment for Wednesday after work, but when I got home to take her, she was barely breathing and couldn’t move, except to wag her tail at my desperate greeting. My neighbor helped me get her in the car, and I tried to will her to stay with me on the drive. I was not successful.nnWe asked how this escalated so quickly. We thought it was a virus. We didn’t know how bad off she was. While we said our tearful good-byes, the attending doctor from Monday said, “Well, we told you there was a blockage.” No. No, you didn’t. But we were too upset to push it then, and we left to break the news to two heart-broken boys.nnWith the emotional whirlwind settling, John asked for more details. After some back and forth, the latest accusation is that the attending vet told me on Monday that there was a blockage and advised me to take her to the emergency vet immediately, but I wouldn’t because of the cost.nnThey are just making things up. I’m shocked, disheartened, and angry. How can they do this? How is this even real? Apparently, the notes on the file now indicate that this was told to me. ud83dude33nnI wanted to move forward. I wasn’t looking for a fight. We just wanted to understand what happened so that we don’t live this again. If we’d gone to the emergency vet on Monday, we may not have had a different outcome. We could still be here. But I wouldn’t be managing the grief of finding my girl nearly dead, while also being accused of being a negligent dog mom.nnThey’re lying. They’re covering up for a mistake they made. And I just can’t believe it.nnIf you are trusting them, don’t. Find a new vet now.
