The Dryden animal clinic was happy to take my puppy as a new patient, and was easily able to fit me for a timely appointment.The office staff is very friendly and it is a relaxed environment. My puppy has had all of its shots and exams here so far and I have been happy with the experience. I will continue to make the drive from downtown Ithaca to use Dryden animal clinic.
It's a small practice, but that's what I really liked about it. The vet and the woman at the front desk were so kind and knowledgeable and I really appreciated their practice. Will definitely be going back!
We love the actual vet but the office staff is horrible. They failed to tell us that our cat needed a follow up shot after her initial shots. When we took her to be spayed several months later, they charged us $100 more than quoted and charged us to redo the shot they didn't tell us we needed. When they called to pick up our cat, they said to remind them that she needed a follow up shot when her stitches were removed. Um, that's not really my job to remind you! When my husband questioned the cost, the receptionist literally turned her back on him and ignored him.nThey never answer the phone and when I called to schedule a time to have the stitches removed, they never called back. That was our cue to find a new vet. They also don't have any computerized records.nAgain, the vet himself is wonderful, but he needs to hire office staff with better people skills.
Great staff amazing Dr. Affordable and thorough
Simply amazing vet. I called a local ANIMAL HOSPITAL for my very sick rattie (overgrown teeth impacting jaw) and they couldn't provide me with an appointment, any advice, or any service at all. I called Dryden Animal Clinic and had an appointment within 24 hours, got antibiotics immediately, and already have surgery scheduled for next week. Dr. Schwartz is very knowledgable and is gentle yet firm. My specific sick rattie does not like being handled but the vet had no difficulties. As of now my rattie is having an amazing recovery and I cannot thank Dryden Animal Clinic enough for all their help!! (Also, there prices are absolutely phenomenal, so reasonable like they should be!)
