Best place to bring your babies they're very kind to animals the entire staff is very concerned about your questions and the caring of your pet's. The Doctor Steinhofer was amazing staying out and answering all concerns with kindness and a smile very nice. Also Blake was so gentle and sweet with my paisley. Appreciate you all.

If you are looking for a caring, compassionate, well informed vet team, do not go to Banfield. Due to COVID-19, the new process is that the vet meets you and your pet in the waiting room and brings your pet to the back, without you; completely understandable. Well, this didn’t work for my dog, as he is a highly anxious senior. The first attempt, Dr. Emily brought him into the back and quickly returned, informing me that my dog would not even allow her to lift him onto the exam table. I apologized and told her that before COVID, I would be in the room with him and he would be fine. She went to ask the manager if it was at all possible to use an exam room. He came out from the back and was visibly irritated. He literally tossed a blanket onto my lap and said “wrap him in this”. I wrapped my dog and handed him to the manager. They went back to the exam area. I immediately heard my dog SCREAMING, which made me very uncomfortable. The vet came out again just a minute later and explained that he was still too anxious and was unable to examine him. She recommended I bring him back another day while on anxiety medication. A receptionist calls me over and CHARGES me for a visit. I asked how this could possibly be considered a visit when the vet herself told me that she couldn’t work with my dog in his current state. The receptionist went into the back & returned stating that the vet did a full physical. Again, FALSE. The vet nor the manager even bothered to come out to explain. I began to cry due to the fact that I wasted my time driving all the way to this location from Queens and put my dog through this torture & then was charged for it. Insane. I wrote a complaint on Banfield website, trying to speak to someone at corporate. I expressed essentially what I’m sharing in this review. No call from corporate and I have been sent straight to collections. All without any attempt at conflict resolution. Where is management? Please know that never share such negative reviews, however, this company clearly could care less about their clients and pets.

There’s a person on the front desk by the name of Barb, she’s an absolute life saver. Very organized, kind and is able to find solutions without excuses like other receptionist.

Love my Banfield... I have a havanese dog and a kitty. They are both on Wellness Plan. If they sneeze or poop funny I bring them in. Of course there was the emergency squeeze from escalator on my poor guy Jayce that they helped me through. All vaccines and teeth cleaning handled just only pay out of pocket for medication.
