I started seeing Dr. O based on a friend's recommendation, and I am so glad I did. She has been my vet for a few years now, and my pup gets super excited to see her, still. The pup did not like her last Vet, so this is a big deal!! Dr. O is clear and concise, which is great because I want to understand when the pup has an issue. The last time we came in, not only did Dr. O help with the dog's limping issue, but also told me about a cracked tooth we didn't know she had.nIt can be so hard to find a good Vet, I'm so happy I found a great one!

Took great care of our puppy. Covid procedures make it very comfortable.

I've been taking my dog to the Animal Hospital of Roslyn for many years. I salute Dr. Amy Ostreich and Dr. Victor LaGinestra who have been treating her and continue to treat her. They are fabulous veteriarians who I highly recommend. They give and continue to give great service and care. They are very attentive to my concerns and explain everything I need to know. They show great compassion and understanding. I'm deeply appreciate of all they do for her. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Roslyn to anyone looking for a very good veterinary service.

Took my dog there because she was limping suddenly, and was told by Dr. Ostreich that she is 7 years old and that’s just what happens in older dogs, that it was “probably” arthritis and it should go away in a couple days. Over the next week, her limp got so bad that she stopped using the leg all together. So we brought her back to the vet again. This time Dr. Ostreich took an X-ray, and says she has hip dysplasia and this is just something we’ll have to live with and treat with pain medication. Again, we knew this was abnormal for our dog, and we were still convinced that there was an actual injury. After a couple more calls, we brought our dog back in for a 3rd visit, this time with Dr. Vic, who we have seen since our dog was a puppy. He took the time to listen to our concerns and was able to diagnose our dog with an ACL tear right away. Dr. Vic has always been professional, reasonable and trustworthy, but our experience with Dr. Ostreich was not what we had hoped for and would have resulted in us letting our dog suffer, had we not continued to seek another opinion, and we just felt like she did not take the time to fully understand our concerns and just gave us a quick generic answer.nnWould be a 5 star review if not for our experience with Dr. O, the rest of the staff has always been kind and helpful.
