We have been trusting Lake Road Animal Hospital with the care of our dogs for over 20 years. I believe they are the best diagnosticians in the area as well as staying on top of health maintenance and preventative care.nThe entire staff at Lake Road is professional and caring. You can tell instantly that they really love animals. All of the dogs we have had through the years love going to the vet!nWe’ve had a few curbside appointments and the dogs were just as happy, the staff just as friendly, vets every bit as thorough and caring. I have taken my cats Tiger and Chloe here for I think a little over a year now. I had had some money issues, and they never hounded me about extras I could get, but didn't need for my kitties. I can literally call whenever for the most random questions, and they always give me a prompt answer and explain procedures, exams, and findings in a way I understand. My cats don't love the vet, but I feel so much better knowing they're in the hands of people who care, and are willing to put my cats feelings/needs above money. I will continue to come here even though it's 45 minutes away, as they have my kitties best interests at heart and are always so sweet.

Lake Road Animal Hospital was so good with our dog. She was happy going in and happy coming out. Dr. Hughes is great. She talked me through everything she did and was open to any questions. Recently my 1 year old dog accidentally consumed medication that was knocked off our counter by our much larger dog. This ingestion became toxic to her very quickly. My dog was instantly taken to Lake Road Animal Hospital to be examined by Dr. Brennan. She was taking a drastic turn and was failing quickly with Acute Renal Failure. Dr. Brennan and his team admitted my dog and began very aggressive treatments with their expert skill, medical knowledge and compassion. They provided me wonderful support during this devastating time. The frequent phone calls, texts of her progress was very much appreciated. Dr. Brennan and his team saved my dogs life and I will always be so grateful for them.. I highly recommend Dr. Brennan and Lake Road Animal Hospital.
