Freehold Animal Hospital

Our first time here and we were very happy with everyone. Very professional and kind staff. This is the only vet I've been able to go in with my dog since COVID. It was a great experience.

About 2 months ago my moms cat..who hadn't been doing very well took a turn for the worse and was practically pretty much gone..i immediately called up my moms regular vet (located in manalapan on Franklin ln) to see if i could bring the poor baby in to be euthanized..i was shocked when they told me they had no openings ...my mom had been a customer of theirs for over 20 yrs..and even with me balling my eyes out they said sorry..we cant help you. So I called over to freehold animal hospital..told the girl my story..and she said bring him right in..they were so compassionate and I am forever grateful to them for helping my moms cat cross over the Rainbow Bridge..I plan on bringing in all my furbabies to them from now on.

I had to do the hardest thing and say good bye to my best friend of 14 years, Bill. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do and I had a really hard time accepting it.nEveryone, from the front desk to Dr. Schiavone herself we’re kind, understanding and compassionate. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me and though I was inconsolable it made the process a lot easier. I will DEFINITELY be using them for future pet visits and I really can’t thank them enough. Also I got a really nice card in the mail today that made me smile :)

I honestly cannot say enough good things. We had an emergency when one of my dogs was coughing and gagging. Our regular vet couldn't see us so I called the FAH and they got me in in under an hour. They were very thorough and offered multiple routes for treatment. After 24hrs the dog wasn't any better and a vet returned my cAll even after hours. The next day my other dog started showing symptoms and they got me in within 2 hours again. Again offered multiple treatment options and helped me remain calm. I am so grateful that they were so kind and accommodating and made us a priority even though we were new clients. We are definitely switching over full time!
