The best vet and surgical center in the region. Our cat had excellent results with surgery for entropion here. Vets and staff are kind.

Just rude. Walked into the hospital with my sick pet and was immediately yelled at that I wasn’t allowed inside and had to go stand on the curb. It was a late Friday night, cold and windy. The woman behind the counter took her sweet time to come outside and then told me I needed to go sit in my car and drive up. She told me there were a lot more emergencies before me and my wait would likely be three hours, completely uncaring! Would never recommend this place and hope I never have to go here again. I ended up leaving and just seeing my vet the next day. The fact that my pet had to suffer unnecessarily due to their unprofessionalism is unforgivable.

We visited Northstar for an emergency visit for our beardie, Gina. Her doctor, Vikas Mendhiratta, was truly wonderful. He had a diagnosis for us within a half hour and although it was not good news, he consulted with the other reptile vets to make sure and present us with all our options. His communication with us was excellent. He was extremely compassionate and kind, it made all the difference especially since we couldn't be with her when she was put to rest, due to covid restrictions. We want to thank him and the staff who took such good care of our Gina.

Sadly, my story does not have a happy ending but the wonderful veterinarians and staff provided excellent care to my beloved Springer Spaniel. While en route to our first visit to Northstar in Robbinsville, I read quite disparate online reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect. Drs Hammer, Berkowitz and Erickson were kind and patient in explaining the diagnosis, prognosis, and associated costs. At no point did I feel financial pressure - I felt they were compassionate in realistically laying out our situation. Even though I’m still raw from losing my sweet girl, I appreciate the excellent care we both received at Northstar.

Admitted my cat at 2:40AM. She was abnormally lethargic, and is and indoor/outdoor farm cat. Have to take any change in behavior like that ultra-seriously.nnThey were very communicative. They ran blood tests, x-rays to make sure there was no gastrointestinal obstruction, and gave her a full overall physical wellness check.nnBy 4:40 we were headed home with a diagnosis of a fever and some antibiotics. They also gave her some fluids because she was a little dehydrated. She hadn't wanted to eat or drink anything because of the fever. When she got in the door she immediately went and ate. I got peace of mind, a diagnosis, and my cat was returned to me alert and happy, when 2 hours previously she had been miserable and barely holding her head up.nnDoctor Bogart and the rest of the staff took good care of my kitty at an hour of the morning when I didn't have a lot of other options to turn to. The $800 bill is a little offputting, but considering the testing, antibiotics and everything else I can swallow that to know my cat is ok.
