Farmer Funeral Home

5 stars are not enough! The exterior of your funeral home is impressive but the interior takes impressive to a whole new level. I’ve been in many, many funeral homes but never one like this- the carpet, the art, the wallpaper, Irish Chippendale furniture, even the bathrooms - I have never seen anything like it. Who is your decorator? We were very impressed.

The funeral home and staff (Michelle, etc) from the Roseland location did such a great job helping my sister and I plan for our mom's funeral service All the details, arrangements, pictures/videos, were handled with care and patience. Our service was not held at the funeral home, rather at Restland Chapel Giles in East Hanover, and both groups so well together. Thank you for keeping the memorial of our beloved mother, Virginia, everlasting.

My father recently passed away and we had heard great things about Shook Farmer from a friend. They lived up to their reputation. We didn't conduct a service there because of Covid lockdowns, but we did go in at one point, and the place is absolutely beautiful. This place is not like what you may think of when you think of funeral home - dark and dreary. It's what you think of when you think of what a funeral home should be - elegant, immaculate, and the perfect amount of light.nnWe dealt with Michelle, who bent over backwards to accommodate us. We asked her to come to our house rather than have us come to the funeral home - no problem. She helped us when we decided we wanted to get some DNA from our dad. She isn't trying to upsell you and was extremely patient while our family debated urns for an hour.nnWhile it would be nice to live in a universe where we never needed their services, we don't, and so I unequivocally (though sadly) say we would absolutely use them again. But let's hope not for a while.

Farmer Funeral Home staff provided the comfort and support my family needed. Attention to detail was a priority. The staff made all the needed arrangements, so my family had more time to spend together. I would very highly recommend Farmer. Everyone was very nice-we were very comfortable and well-cared for by the staff.
