Orangetown Animal Hospital

My family and I have had a great experience at Orangetown Animal Hospital. Dr. Ahn is great, caring, and knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly. Our dog was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease last year and we braced ourselves for the worst. A year later, she is still alive and healthy. Dr. Ahn constantly followed up with our family on our dog's condition even when we went to a different animal hospital due to availability of emergency services. He even spoke with the veterinarian at the other animal hospital to let them know what kind of tests he had run and what his preliminary diagnosis was. She wasn't feeling well recently and Dr. Ahn again helped us figure out what was wrong and how to help her. Time and time again, he has gone out of his way to show how much he cares. We're truly grateful for the staff at Orangetown Animal Hospital!

The staff is extremely professional and takes great care of their patients. The office is taking all the necessary covid precautions and will take your dog from outside and bring them in. After examination the doctor gives you a call and let's you know what they have done, what they want to proceed with, and any other necessary advice. Our dog Stella needed an emergency appointment because she was having a bad allergic reaction. She got all the necessary treatment. I cannot express how grateful we are to the office for taking her in.

I took my golden retriever to this vet, she had an infection, she couldn’t stand, eat, walk, defecate, urinate. He without taking any blood said she is dying and I should euthanize her.nnThat was five years ago, and she’s turning 16 in three months, healthier then when she was 10.nnThe new vet I found in Westchester New York, the same day prescribed her amoxicillin and by that night she was eating and and walking around and wagging her tail happy.nnMy new vet actually suggested a new diet that changed her life. She ha(d) chronic inflammation of her joints and hip dysplasia. The new diet has done wonders, she can get up from a deep sleep and stand right up quicker now at 15 than when she was 10.nnMost of these 5 star reviews are from people getting free services that rescued animals.nnI’d rather pay a premium for a competent vet and have a happy healthy dog then get free or cheap service from a vet that specifically asks for reviews when you bring in a rescue.nnIf you are getting simple services like vaccinations and nail clippings then orange town is great and cheap. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They are accommodating and they don't forget your pets!nI've come here for over two years and will continue to do so because the level of care and service is outstanding.

I made appointment for my dog and they rescheduled by confusing another dog with same name and same last name. They said my wife called to change the appointment but she never knew I had an appointment. Very un-professional and irresponsible. Doctor told me he would call me back after he check with the other owner and never call me either. After 3 years I am moving to different animal hospital
