Jefferson Animal Hospital & Regional Emergency Center

On Thanksgiving night, I had to take my sweet dog Wilson to Jefferson. Although things didn’t work out the way we hoped and our sweet boy passed, I couldn’t be happier with the love and care that he received. I want to thank all of the doctors and staff, but especially Dr. Windham who showed incredible compassion and love for sweet Wilson and my family.

Last night, we contacted our vet due to our dog acting like he may have an obstruction in his throat. Our vet recommended we come to Jefferson Animal Clinic. From the phone call in route, to our arrival, and rapid triage by the physician, Liz was amazing, calm and reassuring. Very thankful everything turned out ok with our Scout. Will definitely come here again.

The staff here are some of the most diligent and hardworking people I've come across. I am so thankful for their help with my pets when I've needed to come in on emergency visits. COVID-19 has made things difficult for everyone, but Jefferson Animal Hospital & Regional Emergency Center is still maintaining excellent service. I can't say enough good things about this place and this team.

My boyfriends mother had to rush her baby into this hospital with hopes they would help. Little did she know the customer care was the worst she would ever endure and not to mention that the proper test wasn’t done to diagnose her poor baby with tumors and cancer. If the personal wasn’t so busy with prior engagements they would have listened to her concerns and worries about her baby. She tried to explain what was going on with her pup just to have Sara say “How much do we have to work with?” And no one listened to her when it came to his issues that was at hand. Now that she had to put her baby to sleep for good no one from this clinic wants to talk to her about how they was unprofessional and inconsiderate the staff was that night. Maybe one day they will understand how hard it is one someone when their pet is all they have had for 12 years and they have to put them to sleep.

October 7, 2016. That's when I learned who and what Jefferson animal hospital is. My sweet baby girl was not even 4 months old and the chances of her making it were slim. Being from etown, we brought her to Louisville because no one in etown could help her, especially on a Friday night after 8pm.nThe second we got there with Mazzy, the nurses took her back and started treating her. The nurses and vet would come out and update us every 30 minutes to an hour. They told us what they were doing, how her blood work was, what they were giving her, and how she was responding to the treatment. I honestly did not know if I would bring my baby girl home ever again.nThe staff at Jefferson animal hospital went above and beyond to care for my baby. From the front desk, to the techs, to the nurses, to the vets, they all truly cared about Mazzy and getting her well again. The staff at Jefferson animal hospital worked miracles and less than 48 hours later, Mazzy was discharged and came home. I truly thank from the bottom of my heart every single staff member at Jefferson animal hospital. Without them, my baby girl who is my absolute whole world, would not be here with me today. I cannot imagine my life without her and they saved her. Four years later and she's as healthy and as happy as ever. I have loved seeing my girl grow up and all thanks to Jefferson animal hospital for being there and giving exceptional care.nEven to this day, Mazzy's nurse still reaches out to me to check up on her and my family.nThey truly care. They are so passionate about what they do and take so much pride in it - as they should!nI would not trust anyone else with my world! Jefferson animal hospital has been such a blessing to me, my family, and our miracle little girl.nI will never be able to say thank you enough or repay them for saving my everything.
