With previous pets I went to another veterinarian office in the area. You know the one that has mini dog village (training, daycare, grooming etc..). They also have new construction, lots of vet salaries and high bills. I recently adopted our next family pet. I have began the journey with the guidance of Dr. Brooks and his staff, so far so good. Service are very reasonably priced, even offer a fair introduction package. Questions are answered in a very detailed fashion. I definitely recommend this place for your family pet!
How is this place still open? We refer to Dr. Brooks as “Dr. Death” due the numerous stories we have both personally experienced and heard about (Check out the reviews on Yelp for more insights). In one of my own personal experiences he refused to take an X-ray on my dog when he showed signs of a blockage, instead misdiagnosing as arthritis. He later pooped out parts of a rope toy and plastic. After cleaning it off I brought it in and showed the staff. They didn’t seem to care. Brought same dog in for same issue and he blew it off as arthritis...again. Had a misdiagnose with a cat where the meds prescribed would have dehydrated it likely put it in a coma. Hit on my lady friend after putting her cat down. Former vet tech of this place told me that he likes to hit on and pick up women customers. Arrogant attitude when I called co-owner of cat to ask questions about an eye issue. Will never forget the look on his face of “come on, man”. You are a vet - this is what you signed up for.
Dr. Brooks has been so caring and gentle with our fur babies. He neutered our Holland Lop bunny today and was so gentle and kind with him. He kept me very well informed about everything.nHe has also taken excellent care of our senior dog.nDr. Brooks and his staff are all very compassionate people. They really get that our 'pets' are very important parts of our family. They really are animal people. ❤
This vet KILLED my Dog. The vet gave my dog 2 different medications and crash her organs. It did not take long for the 2 meds to kill her. I would Never Never use this place. When I called and told them they did even seem to care
My dog is not scared to come here. They always fix him up good and take Great care of him. He would refuse to come if he did not like the place, doctors, or staff. Fast, friendly and reliable.
