Great experience re-painting the entire inside. The new owners Brandon Poortenga Timothy Plaisier and Timothy Valk are super easy to communicate and work with.
My family has used this funeral service for three family members so far, and all three times Randy and his team have done a wonderful job with our loved ones. He followed the last wishes of our deceased loved ones and the family members. The obituary was wrote the way the family members wanted for all of our loved ones. The viewing, funeral and burial of our loved ones was very professional and comforting. Our deceased loved ones looked really nice nothing messed up, no visual incisions, no objects left in them. he was very honest and professional with the funeral arrangements, headstone, viewing and questions we had. I would recommend Heckman funeral service for anyone. Randy Heckman showed his compassion to all my loved ones and the family members too. Our obituary had the proper times, date, and place for the funeral and burial and luncheon. we had pictures on if the loved one wanted a photo graph included. again thank you to Heckman funeral home for a job well done with our loved ones.
This company has failed to provide to my family not only precious engraved items that were ordered at time of service, but also prepared my loved one in such a horrible manner with visible incisions, devices still left in place, and I've NEVER seen anything so unprofessional in ANY service I have EVER been in attendance. Mr.Heckman has NOT returned nor answer numerous calls and emails since summer of 2016 to resolve any matters. I'd take my business elsewhere any time in the future. Use someone else who will show compassion and professionalism to the family instead.
I wouldn't suggest using Randy Heckman for funeral arrangements. There were mistakes made with the obituary. A picture was not included with the obituary and no location of services was listed for people to know where to go. Also, the time set was to be from 10 to 2 but Randy had the paper put that the services started at 2. Imagine the misinformed people showing up at the end....nFuneral services is not something that you want messed up and I would say definately don't use Heckman Funeral home.
I recently lost my mother in law. Mr. Heckman made a really difficult time much easier on us and took care of everything for us right away. I would highly recommend Heckman Funeral Home
