Our family was working through & planning a funeral for our mom who passed in the Spring, which was the first time our family had lost someone as close to us as her. Cook Funeral in Byron Center was incredible! They made going through this extremely difficult process as smooth and efficient as something like this could possibly be. Each employee we came in contact with were polite, friendly and empathetic. The room they provided for our mom's visitation was the largest I've been in for a visitation before and even with the many people inside it at once it never got too hot. They also never tried to up-sell us on anything and were always conscious of our pre-determined budget.nnCook through and through is an example of what any funeral home should strive for. As much as I hope it's a very long time before we have through something like this again, Cook will be the ones we will work with.

Cook Funeral Home was wonderful to host our beloved. They walked us through all of the planning with careful consideration of our wishes, and saw each detail out thoroughly. We were able to focus on receiving family and loved ones, and the staff made themselves available for any assistance. They saw the procession to the church, ushered guests in at the church funeral, and assisted with the procession to the cemetery out back. Our family was in very good hands. They were sympathetic, professional, and guided us through a most difficult time. Thank you Cook! :)

I was blown away by how awesome they were at Cook, and how caring and kind they were. They handled every detail and did an amazing job. Josh was with us every step of the way. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were and I highly recommend them!

Cook did a wonderful job in Sandy VanDenBerg's passing in 2004. Everything was taken care of in a kind and wonderful way. I highly recommend Cook to many people I come in contact with.
