Good with pets. Hard to get an appointment though so if you need to get your pet in right away you won't be able to. You need to call and make an appointment for your pet at least a week in advanced so if it was an emergency situation they won't see your pet because they are so booked up. I had an emergency situation but still they would not fit me in for an appointment even when I pleaded with them and told them my pet won't make it a week if not seen. A very good place for your pet if it's not an emergency and you can wait a week or longer for your pet to be seen.
Very awesome staff! Has been taking very good care of my dog. He has had to have surgery and they have been very compassionate and understanding. They care ALOT.
Our 8 year old dachshund mix started acting strange at the end of last week, and it progressed to very clear pain over the weekend and Monday. I called them Tuesday and they gave me an appointment for the very next morning.nnThe staff was friendly, and very sweet with our dog while getting her in and out of the car. The doctor explained everything to me in great detail and was very nice to speak to. She genuinely cares for pets, and I could tell that even just speaking to her over the phone. I felt very good about letting this vet care for our girl. The appointment notes that I was sent home with are very thorough too.nnI hope that the meds and some rest can help our girl feel better. Although it wasn't the news I wanted to hear about her health, I feel confident that the treatment the vet selected is 100% appropriate for her condition at this time, and I hope that in the coming days and weeks that I can report back to them with good news about Gnarly.nnThank you Bangor Vet team! Bangor vet is the best vet around! They really love and care about the animals! They also deeply care about the owners of the animals! Been with them for around 30 years! Something like that! Absolutely beautiful and wonderful people! Thank you for all you do!
Don’t be in a hurry when bringing your pet in! Appointment was at 4:30, sat in the car for an hour and half before they even came out to take them in for shots. Wish I would have known that a trip to the vet was going to take 2 hours. Staff is very friendly though.
