When my father died we knew he wanted to be cremated and didn't realize we should have made arrangements with a funeral home ahead of time. My sister and I were at the nursing home with my Mom and my Dad's body and were told we needed to have someone come get him - at 6:00pm on a Saturday! We started googling crematoriums near them and then remembered that the hospice nurse had suggested Chad Poitras. We called him and he was AMAZING - from start to finish he made the process seamless - all with great compassion and care. He walked us through every step of the process even ordering the death certificates and placing the obituaries. Additionally he worked to have my dad's remains available before I left town. We will definitely recommend Chad to anyone who asks and use him again when the need arises.nnThis is an update to the prior review because we had to use Chad again in October when my Mom passed away. Once again he was very responsive and so nice - even turning around when I decided I did want to get to Maine before they took her (I was enroute from Kentucky). Then he got us the death certificates and placed the obituaries for us. Chad and his team were professional and friendly and so considerate at a difficult time. I highly recommend him and his services.
