Superior service all around. Our pup required overnight treatment. We received an update after her arrival/exam, and again later in the night. Staff on the phone was very friendly and made us feel like we could call anytime to check in. When we picked her up in the morning Dr. Parsons gave us a thorough explanation of the events of the night, his prognosis, and what we could expect in the upcoming days. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly professional and friendly. Highly recommend this place based on our experience.

This place was packed when we arrived yet my pup received the most thorough vet visit she's ever had. This vet was more thorough than any doctor I've ever seen! I was so impressed and feel relieved knowing that there's such a great emergency clinic in this area.

Without a doubt one of the finest veterinary clinic I’ve ever visited. As MAEC is only an emergency clinic, we’ve only been there when one of our animals was injured or very sick and our regular vet was closed. And that is precisely the time when the quality of treatment can be most critical, both for the animal and the frantic owner. Over the years we’ve had to have MAEC put two of our beloved pets put to sleep, and their professionalism and genuine compassion was so apparent and very much appreciated. And just recently when our senior dog had a run in with a porcupine, their competence and thoroughness was again quite evident. Of course we hope we need their services as infrequently as possible (!), but it is very comforting to know they’ll be there and ready when and if we do.

We are so grateful to the staff at Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic. When one of the greatest tragedies of our lives happened with our beloved Diesel, the staff of this clinic were there for us in every way possible. Even though our story ends in sadness, we knew our baby was in the very best of hands during it. The experience was made as pleasant as it ever could be, entirely thanks to the people that work at this facility. We were included and well informed the entire time we were there. They were extremely compassionate, kind, and generous. We are so thankful.
