I really love this place. I have been going here for years and I usually see Dr. Gillen. He is amazing and really cares about my pets.

Great staff and courtesy. Doctor Gillen showed my dog Leo and I professional guidance to my pets health! Their expertise is unrivaled.

Now that it has been bought by someone new, I am very unimpressed! My sister's BF brought their 2 yr old Pitbull in because he had a large swollen area above his eye. The vet was told that after new hardwood floors were installed, the pup lost footing and hit his head on the floor. Same side as the swollen area. The vet barely did a physical exam on him. She merely said it was most likely allergies and prescribed Prednisone. During the visit, the vet continuously questioned if anyone in the home smoked marijuana, because she claimed that the dog smelled like marijuana. She was told repeatedly that no one in the home smoked pot. The vet acted like she didn't believe them. I can personally vouch that the dog didn't smell like that at all..He was in-between baths so he smelled like any other dog out there that plays outside. After taking the Prednisone, no change, in fact it got worse. So the vet was called again to look at the swollen area, which had now closed the dogs eye. She didn't see him, she simply ordered another round of Prednisone and said it was allergies. At this point the dog won't let you touch his head, but doesn't appear to be in any pain when we were able to touch it. The area started to get hot, and bigger. My sister came home one day to splattered blood all over her living room. The dogs ABSCESS finally burst on its own. Had that vet thoroughly examined the dog when she first saw him 2 weeks prior, she could have given him relief. I will NEVER take my animals to a place that doesn't have the true health and well being of the animal, as well as the parents to the animal, at the forefront. To be honest, this felt like a matter of prejudice, both against the dog, and his owner.
