Russo Hillside Chapels

I chose Russo's as the place to have my father's services and not one regret. I had attended a service there one time before and remembered how it was a nice funeral. I can't honestly say one bad thing, from the funeral home picking my dad up from the house to us leaving the burial site was outstanding! Elizabeth and Anthony (Tony) made the process run smoothly from start to finish during an overwhelming and difficult time. We did the 2 day wake/service and everything was arranged absolutely beautiful. Anthony and Elizabeth were so accommodating and showed empathy which you don't see often. We didn't feel like just another number. From the time you walked into the lobby everything was clean,well lit and nicely decorated. Due to the pandemic only 2 services were allowed at a time and seating was arranged accordingly . 2 rooms were combined which made a much larger space. There was ample parking in the parking lot. Everyone had on mask without a question.Despite my unfortunate loss I was very pleased with Russo's. The cost was very reasonable for such a beautiful place. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could and definitely recommend them.

Words cannot express the kindness and beauty Russo’s Hillside Chapels has. The moment you walk in it feels like your in Tuscany Italy with all the gorgeous decor and furniture. It is by far the classiest funeral home I’ve EVER been to. If you want to give your loved one a ceremony with dignity and grace, this is the ONLY place I recommend. Joey Russo (Owner) is a wonderful man. He is patient, soft spoken and versatile. We recently buried my 15 year old niece and although it was difficult Joey made sure all our requirements were met AND THEN SOME. We had told him that my niece was OBSESSED with eyebrows and makeup and that her eyebrows had to be on point for her because that is what she would want. This man spent 8 hours on just her eyebrows alone and perfected it to a T. My niece looked beautiful surrounded by gorgeous flowers and a angelic like casket. I can’t thank Joey Russo and everyone at Russo Funeral Home enough for giving my niece the service she deserved. My heart is filled with love because of the service, time taken and generosity given by this funeral home. I hope in years to come when it is time to have other services that I am fortunate enough to have services at this place.
