Obviously this isn't a place you want to be, but this funeral home is big and very nice. It's clean and they are following covid precautions. Nice big area down stairs for refreshments.
We have used Hursen Funeral Home for over 30 years. My dad, mom, uncle and just recently my brother. Anthony and Becky go out of their way to make it as easy and painless as possible. They are kind, hardworking, and make sure all the details are taking care of. I highly recommend them.
First funeral experience of a family member so didn’t know what to expect. My father passed last year and neither my sister and I weren’t afforded some precious private viewing time to say our prayers and goodbyes. The director was insensitive and rude when I requested and he scurried everyone out of the room. I thought there would be opportunity for us to have a private moment. It wasn’t the comfort we needed especially as he died unexpectedly and we lived far away.
Anthony and the entire staff are the best I have ever seen! To say they will go the extra mile is an understatement!
No one ever wants to lose a love one as its the worst transition someone can go through. Hursen Funeral Home sure made it 1000 times easier to bare. Anthony and the staff were so accommodating to every need the family had. I pray I dont need their service any time soon but I know that if I needed to Hursen will be the main location to use.
