Alvi Animal Hospital

My first experience with Alvi was okay. We brought our cat in after realizing she was having issues keeping one of her eyes open. They prescribed her some eye drops and pain medication and told us to bring her back in a week so they could refer her to an eye specialist if her eye hadn't healed up. By the end of the week, her eye seemed just fine and healed so we didn't bring her back for the specialist referral.nnIt's worth noting that this is not our usual vet, this was our first time taking any of our pets to Alvi. About a month later, the issue with my cat's eye started happening again and we took her back to our usual vet. Our usual vet needed Alvi to email the documents from her visit with them so they could see what she was prescribed and what the vet put down for history/diagnosis, etc.nnSo, I called Alvi while waiting for it to be my turn to be seen by my usual vet and asked them to email the records over. 10 minutes, later nothing. I called back and asked again, where the records were. Their receptionist copped an attitude with me, stating that she was the only one working and that they were busy and that I just needed to wait. I work a receptionist job as well--when it's something as important as previous health records, I know they should be sent over ASAP.nnThe previous records were never sent. By the time it was my turn for my usual vet to see my cat, he had to do an exam and prescribe different medication as a guessing game (his words), due to the fact that Alvi never emailed over important documents in order to properly treat my cat.nnI'll never do business with them again.nnEdit: looks like they sent the records as I was leaving the vet's visit, way after I originally requested them. The timing/lack of care and urgency is sad.

Love this vet.. he is not like other vets where they do all the unnecessary tests to charge you more.nI highly recommend him.
