We felt very fortunate to have found Nelson Family Mortuary. Lance and his staff were very compassionate, accommodating and worked with us through every step in helping to put together the memorial service that we wanted for our son. They helped turn an overwhelming process into one that was manageable and greatly relieved the pressure that we were feeling with how to proceed. Their expertise with technology was greatly appreciated in being able to broadcast the service remotely. We will always be grateful for their help, their professionalism and their kindness in our time of need.

How do you leave a review for a Mortuary? Some if not all funerals are shocking and unexpected, Lance and everyone here was absolutely amazing. I can not even get past there with out getting emotional, Taylor's Grandpa was the architect and as I was greeted at the front door, I was breathless, its beautiful, stunning, bright and they know exactly what they are doing when I did not. From the moment you pull in and park from the moment you follow your loved one to there resting place. It's beautiful. Thank you again for all your support and help, I know I am not the easiest to handle.. You know like changing the entire funeral right before it starts.. And you all just rolled with it.. THANK YOU!!

If Google would allow for 10 stars, the Nelson Family Mortuary deserves all of them. We held the funeral of my father there yesterday and it felt to us like this was the most important funeral they had ever done. I cannot say enough good about Lance and his team. Our family will forever be grateful for their execution and compassion. In addition, the facility is beautiful, smells great and included every bit of infrastructure we needed. 100 Stars!

The Staff was wonderful and helpful. Their Chapel worked very well and it is set-up to use technology so the service can be broadcast and recorded in a high quality fashion without any problems. Everything went well and I appreciated the way they worked with us during a very difficult time.

After the death of our daughter, we chose Nelson Mortuary to help plan her memorial, and make arrangements for the details and care of her body. Our family met together with Elizabeth. With professionalism and compassion she helped our family choose how we wanted to have things handled. They have all the resources and connections to provide the best possible experience and outcome. They took care of posting the obituary, ordering memorial programs, and thank you cards. They provided a place on their website for friends and family members to stay updated about the memorial services, a place for them to leave memories and comments, order flowers, etc. The funeral home is absolutely beautiful and they provided a wonderful place for everyone to celebrate my daughters life. Lance, the owner, conducted the services and was a helpful and sensitive support for us that day. They ordered and arranged for a catered luncheon for over 250 people following the memorial, including staff to serve and clean up. They recorded the entire memorial service, and uploaded the broadcast on their website so that others who were not able to make it, could feel a part of the that day. They even gathered all the flowers and floral displays and transported them to a second gathering we had in her honor later that evening. The service their staff provided was more than we could have expected or imagined. Our family had a wonderful experience working with Nelson Mortuary, and we will be forever grateful for their help and support during that time.
