I would like to thank Harrell Funeral Home for the phenomenal services that was rendered to me while taking care all the arrangements for my deceased spouse. Doug explains the process in a thorough manner that made me feel a sense of comfort knowing that I was leaving my husband in good hands. Cathy with after care service, brighten my day when she called to assist with the after care process. It was so good to know Cathy would take care of contacting, creditors, opt-out mail and several other vendors on my behalf. It was amazing to me that Cathy was already here for me. With sincere appreciation, I would like to thank Harrell Funeral Home and their staff.
We appreciated one person followed us through the entire process and services. From start to finish!nQuestions were always answered promptly and other family members had the benefit of being involved and having their questions answered as well.nLosing our mother has been the hardest loss for all of us. Our designated person not only assisted with service planning but also made himself available just to listen and provide comfort.nnHarrell Funeral also provided aftercare services to assist with notifications to personal accounts, insurance etc. Didn’t feel at first it would be needed but turned out to be a blessing.
I can’t speak highly enough of the staff at the Kyle location. The director, Wade, has handled us with love and care. This is a huge deal when you’ve just lost a loved one. He has gone above and beyond when we’ve asked for things that might not be the norm.nnThey also offer an after care service that helps guide you and support you when beginning to notify companies of the passing. I appreciated this complimentary service when I didn’t know what to do and I was still greatly grieving.nnI am so blessed we had them at our time of need.
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! If you would like to mourn your loved one in peace, please DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. All we got were excuses and lack of preparation and communication. One person is telling us that the remains were cremated and delivered and when we show up someone else tells us that they are not there. Obviously someone isn't paying attention. The zoom/facebook live streaming for families that could not attend did not work and it was not tested prior to being set up so it ruined the entire service. Wrong flowers were provided and they were wilted on top of that.nSadly, what should have been a memorable occasion was tainted by complete ineptitude.
Thank you for being there for us. Harrell funeral home transported the body promptly with dignity. They also provided good informations for us who are inexperience with this matter. However, we also have a few suggestions and complaints to make for improvement:nn1. They should provide cremation viewing. It is important to us to see that our love one was being treated properly. Most importantly, we want to be sure that the remaining is really ours.nn2. My husband mouth is full of gold. We should be able to retrieve it somehow (with ashes?).nn3. The wreath that I ordered is not what I paid for. I got a cheaper wreath. No one seem to take responsibility for it.nn4. The zoom conference was a total disaster. The PA system didn’t work even inside the hall. We could not understand what the speakers were talking about.nnThe crews were courteous and helpful.
