Eric Bishop is an example of someone who helps make a devastating situation into one that is filled with care & truly makes you relaxed & calmer and able to deal with the death of a loved one. He is very knowledgeable in asking the right questions & I forgot some details but though his process I remembered a lot of things.

Being a funeral director myself, I had to also be on the other sideon the other side of the arrangement conference for my father. Knowing what I wanted for my family in our time of grief, and knowing I have to let someone else do the planning, I was relieved in everything with my colleagues taking over. The death of a loved one is a very difficult time. We had prearranged this funeral several years ago, a decision that was excellent both at the time of contract and at the time of the need. Having made most of the major decisions well in advance allowed the process to go expeditiously, even though several unforeseeable issues occurred. Each of these was managed efficiently and professionally by the Levy staff.

Eric Bishop was a God-send. I don’t know what I would have done without his hard work, advice, offers of support and help, recommendations for a Rabbi and just downright human kindness. He was honest and straightforward, but respectful and compassionate all at the same time. Everything obviously had to be done so quickly, and not being Jewish, I was not at all certain on so many things. He understood that and was always available, responsive and caring. Thank you, Eric.
