I've taken my pets to The Colony Animal Clinic since I can remember and they've all seen Dr. Holt. Since he's retired, I've seen Dr. Vera and she is very caring. I've had 3 cats and 1 dog and they've had diabetes, cancer and allergies. When we've had to put them to sleep, the staff has been very compassionate and caring. The staff is always courteous and helpful when you call them on the phone. We currently have 1 cat and will continue to use the clinic.

The Colony Animal Clinic has been very responsive and efficient during this season. We took our pup in for his annual visit, and the clinic was efficient and communicated well with us. We've always had a good and quick response from them!

My parents had been taking our pets to TCAC since I was five years old. When I moved out and moved to east Plano I continued to the drive to TCAC. The staff and vet techs are so sweet and understanding and gentle. They are great with our pets.nWhen my fiance and I got a new cat we decided to take her to his old vet in Plano since we already had four going to TCAC. We took her there for one year. She had/has health issues. I just didn't like the way she was handled there. It felt impersonal and the office never seemed to be open. It was always a different person at the front desk. With The Colony Animal Clinic you know who's going to greet you. They all know you by name and pet's names.nDr. Holt has been the best vet tech in The Colony for decades. He knows his stuff. Dr. Wild, well, she's amazing. Very personable. A great educator as well. She's taught me things about my cats I didn't know.nI've recommended TCAC to friends before and they still go there. I once suggested TCAC to someone who's pup had Parvo. He had gone to three clinics and all three wanted to put the pup down or charge outrageous prices. I told him about TCAC. He went there and they helped save his Parvo puppy. He was very, very thankful.nObviously I cannot say enough about The Colony Animal Clinic. :)nn8-12-2020 update. My review still stands. :D

Two experiences: the first was decent. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. Second experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Scheduled an appointment for my sick dog and got a call the day of the appointment asking if they could reschedule me because they had another sick dog they needed to see. I apologetically said I needed that appointment for my dog to which they said “sorry, we actually already gave away your appointment and we can’t see you until next week.” I ended up having to take my dog to the ER the next day and found out she has parvo. My dog would’ve died had I waited until my next appointment.nn2-star average because the first experience wasn’t bad (4 stars) but I won’t be returning to this clinic.
