We have been members of Banfield for several years and when we moved to Little Elm we were excited that there would be a new location so close. We took our dog in last week for general surgery and had a great experience. The doctor was very informing and called us in a timely manner to update us so we did not have to worry. We had a few concerns about post op complications and although it was not a good experience initially we have since then have had good communication and help to be able to get our pet the care he needs.
Love at first sight! From the phone conversation to the consultation, I really felt our pet was definitely in good hands. When I arrived curbside, one of the office staff came out to greet me and give paperwork to complete and then she asked what were my concerns so she could relay to the Vet and then after specific treatment had been confirmed (3yr rabies vaccine), she also mentioned the other items on our pet's checkup schedule that could be administered at a later date. After I dropped our pet off, the Vet called after about 1 hour to discuss the visit and listed all that had been done and she explained treatment for our pet's allergies along with dental check. I was very pleased with how the Vet listened to my concerns and politely recommended the best treatment for the issue(s). I purchased my pet's heartgard and flea/tic treatment. Banfield supplied everything or pet needed on this visit. Also, the three staff members I spoke with from curbside to checkout including the technician who kindly brought our pet out, were very kind, professional and full of smiles. We were in and out in a couple hours which would normally be at least 4hrs as a dropoff since the Vet is usually in surgery in the morning. I really appreciate how they took the time for us. I felt as though Banfield truly cares about our pet as well as the owner :)
Just moved to little elm and found this place. From the minute we got there it felt off. Dr had very poor bedside manner and prices did not make sense. Will not return.
