I had a very positive experience at this vet office. I have been here on multiple occasions and recently my dog had a surgery here. The vet discussed multiple options and noted that if I did two procedures at once it would be cheaper since my dog would already be under. It was, to my surprise, very economical. Follow-up visits afterwards had no cost and the medication that my dog received was at a very reasonable rate. As previous post had mentioned bedside manner, my dog was cared for and attend to accordingly. I want my dog to be looked after medically and with competency, we are not at a spa I don't expect her to be excessively loved up on and pampered. However, the staff was attentive. I was overall very pleased with the care that my dog received.

Worst experience I have ever had at a vet.nWe brought our dog in to get his vaccines and nails trimmed.nOur dog will let us trim his nails but we thought bringing him to a vet would be much easier.nLong story short... I have never heard my dog cry and scream like that before.nThey also made my dog bleed from improper cutting. It was traumatic to hear and witness. I could see blood dripping on the techs scrubs.nThe vet became agitated and said I would have to have my dog sedated next time in order to trim his nails. Which is completely bogus. Needless to say they knew not to charge me for the nail trim for such an awful first experience and injuring my dog.

I took my pregnant cat here to make sure everything was okay because for about a week she was having weird things go on, well today she unfortunately gave birth all her kittens were dead. I’m disappointed with how they staff treated me and my cat, any time I tried to talk I got shut down like I didn’t know what I was talking about, I’ve had 2 other cats and 3 litters of kittens. The vet checked her temperature and then said she was fine, no checking on the kittens and then told me everything was fine. The dead kittens speak differently.

These guys are incredible! Great staff and very friendly. Best place for your pet in the DFW area!

I had a great experience with this vet and the clinic. I brought our Persian female cat in for spaying and the assistant was friendly and nice and also funny. Later I picked her up and the vet was nice with a dry sense of humor. I was told everything went well and given thorough instructions for her recovery and told to bring her back in 10 days to have her stitches removed. I brought her back and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is pleasant and the vet is experienced and very good with a wry sense of humor. I’m glad I found Dr. Johnson! And there is an opinionated resident Siamese cat on staff at the clinic as well!
