Total lack of respect for veterans and their families.nI just called them asking why they did not schedule an Honor Guard for a Veteran being laid to rest. They could not explain why. Nothing but excuses. I called multiple Vfw's and American Legions who were willing to do it if the funeral home made the effort to call them. Do not use this funeral home if you are laying a Veteran to rest.

I don't have words to express how grateful and thankful we are to all the staff at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. They were very professional and provided excellent service , but above all very compassionate and understanding during this extremely difficult time for my family. PATHETIC. OVER ALL LACK of customer service. No empathy from staff. They stay in their office with their faces glued to their phone screen. I've been to MANY funerals. This funeral home is NOWHERE close to the service given at other funeral homes in Brownsville.
