I used to take my macaw here for her checkups and any medical needs. However, in my last visit, I had the most horrific experience ever and would warn anyone to stay away if you care about the safety of your pet.nnApparently, they used metal tools to try to pry my bird's break open. This resulted in busting my birds beak on both sides. When I came in to pick up my bird, she was handed over with blood dripping from her cracked beak.nnThe most appalling part, is there was no remorse. No apology. Nothing to make it right. I'm pursuing my legal options now, but I implore any client of this vet to seriously search for someone more caring and empathetic about their practice. Feel free to reach out for pictures if you want proof, as I documented it all at the time.nnCompletely unprofessional.

I called around to a few places trying to find an avian vet, and I’m so glad I found this place! It was after lunch and they fit me in right away since it was an emergency. Everyone I talked to was so friendly and helpful. The vet, I wish I remembered her name, took the time to talk to me and answer all my questions. Cannot recommend this place enough!

All the staff is very professional and caring. I feel at peace leaving my pets in their care.

My little cockatoo had a prolapse and of course it was during COVID and an emergency! But they handled everything professionally and ... she is doing very well! Thank you Dr. Rupley and all of your courteous staff!

This is our second time coming to Dr. Ruply all the way from Houston and we continue to be very pleased. Everyone there is super nice and efficient. They show true concern for our pets and also try their best to make it affordable when possible. You will not be disappointed.
