Food City

I've been to a lot of food city's in different counties even and this one has the worst deli unless you go when you know it's fresh there will be dry and hard food on the bar, dry chicken with barely any good meat on the bone in their chicken section, and all the good pre made meals are always sold out. Not a very well kept food city in my opinion. Unless, again, you know when they cook it fresh and go then. Very inconvenient since we always want good food around 4pm but won't be going there again. Looks like they cook it and let it sit for hours.nnUpdate 4-9-21nI've been going in different hours at least every other day and the food on the hot bar still has not improved. The mashed potatoes are really runny for some reason and taste sour, we bought some the other day and had to throw them away, we didn't ask for a refund or anything and the chicken and fish are always hard and heavily breaded with barely any meat at the center and the hush puppies are dried out and hard as well but I will say they do have good cornbread.nnAlso, why are the fruit and veggies so bad ? Looks great on the outside but once sliced into, trash. Is that a nation wide problem amongst other produce stores or just this particular food city?

Employee was helpful , helping me find a product.nCashier was very nice. And her trainer was very nice also.

Big parking lot... it's in a building that has Family Dollar at the other end. Most of the FC's have the Gas-N-Go in which case is a nice perk to shopping there. Friendly staff and some food prices are good.

This little store needs be expanded because the area is growing fast.
