Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic

I was a client of Great Lakes for seven years. We’ve taken every dog we’ve ever been lucky enough to have to this clinic. I honestly love Dr Jeff and Dr Randy and I will miss them greatly but I can no longer bring my pets here. After a truly nightmare experience happened at their clinic on 11/16/20 I requested proof of testing that was done. I believe something happened that I can’t prove - but ultimately as a result of this - I ended up requesting my pets medical records. Instead of providing the test results to me immediately they responded that they had contacted their malpractice insurance carrier for “professional counsel”. I had to threaten to have them reported for violation of the law with the veterinary licensing board of WI to finally receive the medical records of my pets. Once received I found that their vet tech staff put things that were completely false and also a matter of opinion in the records from the night this happened. I have agreed as of Monday (11/30) to let this all go if they remove the false information from my pet records so I can take them somewhere else without carrying their negativity with me. I have received no response from their office manager Tamera. She is also who made it clear that I did not matter as a client and basically pushed me out the door instead of trying to find a solution to the problem I was presenting to her.nnPlease also keep in mind when reading this the pet that this all happened to, is a 16 week old puppy who at 14 weeks almost died in their care, and needs ongoing medical care. I’m currently unable to provide that for him, because they won’t release records that are accurate and not based in opinion.

I have known the veterinarians at Great Lakes Veterinary for more than 20 some yearsnI have trusted them for my Horses, Dogs, Cats and my 3 foxes my latest Fox Sweet Pea. There are not many vets in the Fox River Valley that keep up with the treatment and care of Exotics. I am so grateful they are soooooo up to date on the carennOfnExotics or even your rat or hedgehog .nI have had many unusual animals and Great Lakes Veterinary is the only one I would trust with my family of animals, even Hideous Kincy our Pot Belly Pig!nThey are always up to date on treatments for exotics, Dogs, cats and all animals.nnAs I said I have been more than 20 years ago with them since they started Great Lakes , why change when you have the Best that you can have. I’ve recently moved to fond du lac and have tried a few different vet clinics to save me drive time but, cannot find anything better than Great Lakes. The building and grounds are beautiful and the clinic and rooms are very clean. I’ve always had great service and never had a bad customer experience. They are super friendly and efficient when answering emails, phone calls, and helping with any questions. I’ve been going here since I was little with my family pets, and now that I’m an adult and have pets of my own I can understand why my parents have been going here all these years. I highly recommend this vet clinic, and yes it’s worth the drive.

First time visiting. Dr Randy was our doctor. Upon walking in, I was immediately welcomed by Jessica. She was quick to check me in, explained everything throughly and before moving on she made sure I understood all she had said. I was impressed! Jessica even told me who my vet tech was. Emma came in and introduced herself. Very polite and professional. Went over what was expected and asked if there were any questions or concerns. Then the doctor came in and behind him were the ladies checking out my kittens lol Dr Randy asked if it was okay first which was very respectful of him. Dr Randy made the visit fast, understanding and clear. Prices are great. Room was clean. For being a super picky mama, I approve. Thank you for all you guy's do.
