Great when at the office. But terrible assistants on the phone and when calling about my dogs incision being infected. They act like they didn’t care and put off the appointment for another week. After I told them the incision was swollen, red, tender, and turning a different color. Stayed on the phone for 15 mins trying to get someone to answer so I could talk to a vet. I will say Dr.Reynolds is amazing and got back to me and asked for me to bring her in the next day just to make sure everything was okay.

I’ve been a loyal Banfield customer thru 5 pets and over 10 years. The service I experienced at this location has made me leave them for good.nnDespite being too busy for the vet to talk to us, it took the vet tech 5 trips to the back to ask the vet questions for us, and still couldn’t articulate or explain what was going on. Each time coming back with a terrible translation to the doctors response. At one point she literally said “your dog has two things...” Ok, “what two things?” “Let me go ask” That slow process of middle man continue over the course of 30 minutes. In that time I could have had all my questions answered if I was able to speak to the vet directly.nnI’m an hour away from that location. I stressed this point to the front desk vet tech (I didn’t have an appointment but I had my dog with me). I offered to wait until all customers in line were done so to save a trip back the next day. The front desk rep refused. They had to get a urine sample via needle which would have taken 15-20 minutes. The front desk rep said that there are 6 locations in Charlotte (2.5 hours away) which, clearly tells me the rep didn’t even hear my situation or has no idea where we are on a map! She said I could drop my dog off the next day and would have to pick her up later that day (reminded her I’m an hour away). Nothing. Silence.nnI requested the front desk rep to have the head vet call me because I still had questions. She never called.nnWhen I called back to follow up with the vet I cancelled my upcoming cats appointment because who needs service like that? I told another front desk tech that I had a horrible experience and after 10 years they have lost my business. The response was a resounding “ok.” No attempt to fix, no inquire into what happened. Just “ok, can I help with anything else.” Unapologetic. Unprofessional.nnDo yourself a favor and go to the Asheville location or find a local vet. I did not feel welcome and my pet was completely ignored during a serious health issue.

They are all amazing and truly love animals. My dog is excited to go every single time.

I can't say enough about Banfield staff. I had brought in a stray that had a wound and was bleeding. He didn't like being handled and really gave one of the vet a hard time. They were so patient with him and loving. Literally this cats heros today! Thank you guys so much for your kind hearts. ❤
