Tabbs Creek Animal Hospital

My sister and I took her beloved dog Hunter to be assisted across the Rainbow Bridge. Tabbs Creek staff were very compassionate and the vet made Hunters transition as easy as it could have been. Thank you Tabbs Creek staff for all that you did for my sister and I.

Unprofessional. We saved up enough money to get my dogs ear infection treated, and dropped her off for the day as a work in. We werent asked history, but i attributed this to them being busy and let it go bc i knew that my dog would need flush, antibiotics and ear cleaner/ meds. This is an ongoing issue and i was a vet assistant for a number of years. There was no estimate given, as is customary, there was no mention of any extra charges. The dr called me 10 minutes after we left and said we could pick up in 15 minutes, bc he was done, no problem. I informed him that we had dropped off and would be back in about 3 hours as arranged with front staff.nWhen we picked up, we got a bill for considerably more than i had budgeted for, and when i looked at the break down, i saw that this hospital had charged me a 35 dollar work in fee on top of the elevated sick patient exam. THEN i see ANOTHER charge of 17 dollars for full day boarding on top of it all. I was not asked if i was ok with any of this, bc if they had asked i would have taken my dog to my second choice which was farther away but not exorbitant with charges. The manager made it clear that her tech was excellent and had informed me of these charges. I made it clear that an excellent tech would have asked my animal's history considering this was a possible allergy related issue, and she also would have let me know she was overdue for necessary vaccines to be in hospital, none of which this tech did. I would not recommend this hospital. I was pretty upset, and didnt have that money to spare. If nothing else, id have appreciated the manager believing me when it was clear her tech did not get and provide other data and so could not be indeed, excellent.

They are always understanding and helpful, has worked us in when we had a pet emergency.
