They are wonderful! Compassionate, professional and they take great care of my Morkie when he is there. He just had dental surgery and a cleaning. They removed 8 teeth and he is so much happier now and the awful smell in his mouth is gone. I called to ask some questions after his procedure and they were happy to answer anything!

My experience at AVA West was stellar!!!! 50 stars if i could!!!nnI recently had both of my pets in for surgical procedures, it was nerve wracking as one of my guys had 2 masses and a dental to be carried out in the same day and my other babe had three small skin tags to be removed under sedation. These guys are not the most behaved in my absence but the team assured me that they were in good hands and would be placed in a comfortable dog only section of the hospital while they waited for their surgical procedures to commence.nThere isn't a doubt in my mind that my babies were treated with the care that only a team of competent, compassionate and stellar professionals can provide. There is no other place in town that i would trust to handle the medical needs of all my pups. Dr Dunleavy, Dr Warstler are very knowledgable and both have been my vets for routine wellness visits. Dr. Pruitt is an amazing veterinarian surgeon that i have been following for years, the surgery team walked me through the entire process by explaining the importance of risk mitigating blood work prior to surgery and ensured that pain and comfort were of the utmost importance post-surgery. Melanie and Laura were amazing in keeping me involved by calling me after the procedures were complete and i received a phone call from Holly and sarah to check up on my guys 24 hours later. I highly recommend these folks to everyone looking for a place to take care of their furry babies.nIm sure after you visit these folks you may end up writing a review similar to mine.....nnCheers,nOne happy dog dad!

I've taken my cat to many cats over the years, and I really like how they explained everything they wanted to do before doing it and how they really seemed to care about my cat. Wonderful place, I've found my vet.

The people who work here are fantastic. Kind, attentive, and helpful in general. This will always be my veterinarian of choice.nnEdit; To add to the review, the first time I went here I watched from afar as the nurses did some tests on my cat. They didn’t know I was watching in the next room or that I could hear them. The way they treated him with such care and kindness was really something else. These people truly care about what they do.
