My mother was at this place for 2 weeks before I had to call them and find out what the hold-up was. Turned out to be a descriency between the medical examiner and family Dr. Why couldn't they call me and let me know what was going on? I had to call them. Then the skunk headed girl running the front office called me and said she was ready to be picked up, so I drove half an hour to pick her up and she said oh, I'm sorry she is not here yet. It will be another half hour! This place is a dump! Do a little research on places before you decide where to take a beloved family member. Avoid asheville mortuary!

Nice place they has had 3 of my family members in the last 3 years. We did have a problem but not with the people who helped us they were very nice just a misunderstanding with and employee.

Asheville Mortuary Service was so wonderful! From start to finish they were kind, patient, and understanding. They were so compassionate while still being so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend AMS for their outstanding service and professionalism.

Asheville Mortuary is a family run business and they perform an outstanding job at treating people with respect and dignity. They saw to it that every detail is perfect for my sister and I while going through the loss of our father. I don’t think I could have gotten the care, or attention to detail at any other place. I’m very thankful that my Dad’s services were handled so professionally and with such care.
