We took our cat here for an emergency appointment. I was impressed with the attentiveness, warmth and expertise of the staff. I was also surprised that our bill was not higher (for the services that we received). They even have a vet who specializes in cardiology, and I believe she saved our girl. Even though we could only talk on the phone (they have strict covid safety measures ud83dudc4dud83cudffb), everyone at Veterinary Specialty Services was compassionate, patient, and thorough. They made sure I understood what was going on with my cat and didn't mind when I called in to check on her. Highly recommend.

While the services are excellent, the wait time for emergency service is ridiculous..however no other option for emergency service
The day after Christmas, my German Shepherd was hit by a side-by-side and we rushed him (an hour) to this place to get him help. The vet kept contact with me through everything that happened when they had him and what they were going to have to do for him and how much it was going to cost. The cost of everything was very expensive.. but it is what it is. They were very nice and understood the love we had for our dog. Unfortunately, we ended up losing him the next morning and we chose to have him cremated. When I went to pick him up, we had a sweet card, and the best thing I could get. They made a mold imprint of his paw and sent it home with us. I am so greatful they did this and so happy I have this left of him. We also just received a personalized card from them sending their condolences. They really do care for their patients and their families.
They saved his life. Very upfront and honest. They were just as concerned about him as I am. Highly recommend. Only downside is they will not accept payments from organizations, which is a huge downside. But, they have the specialists and the surgeons for the job. Like I said, they saved my little man's life. Even sent me a picture during his recovery.
