The veterinarians at Kirkwood Animal Hospital are knowledgeable and caring. They provide first-rate care with excellent diagnostic skills, compassion and an emphasis on low anxiety treatment methods. The reception staff is friendly and keeps appointments running in a timely manner. Dr. Hormuth has provided wonderful care for my dogs!
I trust this team. They are caring and flexible. I have been in recently with my 3-year old pup and man do they treat her like an angel. The entire staff is friendly and will keep us coming back, possibly even with our cat if I can muster the courage and have time to buy some spare band-aids. They do not allow pet owners to weigh themselves on the scales FYI! They also remember your name and your pet's name, and that is just unbeatable. Six total stars, please!
I've been taking my cat to Kirkwood Animal Hospital for a little over a year, and I have to say, this is one of the best vets I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, everyone is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. They take their time with each patient, ask lots of questions and thoroughly examine every concern. Your pet is in great hands, regardless of which vet you see! They are a little pricey, but I still highly recommend them. You absolutely get what you pay for here.
I just want to say thank you so much to all of the employees and doctor Rigazzi (not sure if that’s the correct spelling). I had to put my 14 year old dog Manny down this morning and everyone was so kind. It was the best experience I could have asked for at a time like this. They made sure my baby was very comfortable and went peacefully. I am so grateful I was able to get him in here and did not have to go the 24 hour emergency clinic because some of their reviews scared me and I just did not want him to suffer. Thank you so much for your kindness and for treating my Manny so well.
I’ve been bringing my pets here for years and I always feel like they are well-taken care of. I had one scary procedure on my cat Ruby and the staff explained everything to me and made sure Ruby had everything she needed for her recovery. It made the process so much easier.
