I can honestly say that this is a great organization with great people. My fiancé and I brought a Great Blue Heron in that had been half-frozen to death due to the sub-zero temperatures. They encouraged us to call or come by to check in on him throughout his recovery. We did just that and now he is standing, flying, and eating again! It is amazing that our area has a place where anyone can bring an injured animal like this. They are extraordinary and our community is truly blessed.
Even though there is a pandemic going on, these sweet souls still rescue animals in need. They promptly returned my phone call and set an appointment for me to drop off a baby squirrel that was in rough shape. They were very attentive and inquisitive about the animal and I have no doubt they will do everything they can to help the squirrel! They also provide updates on the animal through the website that you can check up on the animal weekly i believe. Thank you so much for taking in the squirrel!
Amazing, They took in a squirrel who hit a car while trying to cross the road. He appeared to have a head injury but has his best chance with the wildlife rescue. Excellent service!
I had the pleasure of transporting a sick animal for my local animal control to this location. When I arrived they were supposed to be on break, but I rang the bell and they came out to help me anyway! I appreciated that response and attention, and so did the sick raccoon! Local organizations like these need financial help and volunteers, please consider helping them!
called about 7 times and no one has answered the phone. not leaving a voicemail cause no one calls back. I need to know what to do with the baby squirrel that was found laying in my yard. we put him in a shoe box attached to the tree to see if the momma would come back. It has been 2 days and she has not taken him back.
