We have loved this practice for years. They have been with us from the beginning of one dog joining our family to the end of life with another. The staff is kind, smart and responsive. Their dedication in diagnosing, giving supportive care and coordinating emergency treatment/surgery with an emergency vet hospital is why our dog is still with us. They are a great vet clinic that have become our friends.

Great people work here. I Have been taking my dogs here for a year and a half and I couldn’t be happier with the care they have provided. They are compassionate, genuine people who truly seem to love what they do and they treat your pets right. One of my dogs recently had to have an urgent surgery, and while it was heartbreaking for me I felt more comfortable knowing that he was in good hands. Things went smoothly, they kept me updated on his progress and then called me multiple times to follow up and check on him. When it was time to get his stitches out, he was so scared that he wouldn’t get out of the car, so they climbed into the back of my SUV to sit with him in there and removed his stitches once he calmed down. You don’t get much better than that.

I grew up in Spencer Creek and Spencer Creek Animal Hospital has been there for almost 40 years, and they took excellent care of our pets. They have always been simply the greatest! If we lived closer by today we wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else but there. They have always been caring and wonderful people!

The Vet I spoke with patronized me. I had to ask her 3 separate times “what are the symptoms of distemper?” before getting an answer. She even had the nerve to speak over me and wasn’t answering my question on the second ask. You’re a veterinarian and an expert in your field but that doesn’t give you the right to patronize me for asking questions. All I wanted was an understanding of symptoms to look out for. Asking questions is part of the process and blatantly ignoring my questions while responding with a yuppy patronizing tone is uncalled for. I don’t have $300 to shell out for vaccines but that doesn’t make me a bad owner. (she never called me a bad dog owner but it was implied in her tone after asking about the necessity of each vaccine they suggested, totaling $300.) Finally when the vet responded to my question she only gave me 1 symptom of distemper. (She did leave me with a distemper facts sheet when dropping my dog off (which was nice) but only after she realized she had upset me by seemingly dodging my question) Asking 3 separate times the same question is ridiculous and acting like she didn’t understand my question when I mispronounced distemper (when that was the conversations topic) is insulting. I never have heard of , used, or pronounced this neurological disease until my visit. Go see a therapist for your inflated ego.nn—— edit After receiving a phone call trying to understand my review (which is a nice attempt at customer service) a representative of the Vet denied my experience saying “I just can’t imagine my doctor being like that.”(with the same patronizing tone) I’m not a liar. I had to slowly ask the vet like speaking to a child, for the 3rd time, over the phone “what. are. the. symptoms. of. distemper?” before getting an answer. Understand this lady is probably a great Vet and the staff is professional in the care they provide to animals (So I’ll add a star.) but how you respond to patients questions MATTER. Finally, if you call to ask about my experience and deny it, save the phone call.
