Elm Point Animal Hospital

I couldn't recommend this vet enough. We went to them initially because the shelter we got our dog from uses them (Five Acres, also fantastic). I have not regretted it, and would never change.nThe staff are so friendly and cheerful, and I always feel like we're being looked after. They're very understanding, take the time to answer questions and are fantastic at making sure you understand whats going on too. I've never felt rushed or anything like that, and when I've had to go during the pandemic, I've not had to worry about how he is treated. They really love our pets there!

Be prepared to literally wait hours for your animal to seen. We have a new puppy, his first puppy checkup (no shots) 2 1/2 hours. Took an hour just for the them to pick him up! First puppy shots and rabies shot - both appointments took over 1 1/2 hours. Back for a 3rd appointment, it took 3 conversations to confirm which animal I had with me, 40 minutes just to pick him up. Appointment took over an hour again! Be respectful of peoples time! Don’t schedule appointments if you can’t keep the appointment times! To top it off, they still haven’t called to say if my dog is sick but quick to call me to pay my bill, but what am I paying for? Is my dog sick? Receptionist didn’t even know.

We love Elm Point Animal Hospital. Always friendly and great services. Good doctors, techs, and groomers. Our dog is loved there.

My sweet Paris is 15 years old and only weighs 4 pounds. I am always concerned when she has to have anesthesia for any procedure. Paris had her teeth cleaned last week along with some extractions and the staff was not only professional but also very caring and warm. They called several times to let me know how Paris was the day of the procedure and also the next day to check on her. I really appreciate being updated so often. I highly recommend this business.

I wish I could give this Animal Hospital 10 stars. For the last 12 years this family of doctors and staff have been a part of our lives by helping us take care of such a special part of our life. Our dog, Chloe, was cared for by each person there. They always take their time, give solid advice and treatment plan options, but most importantly love your dog as if it is their own. While I wish dogs could live forever, we lost ours a few months ago and even after that happened we received calls, cards and even a donated tree that was planted in her honor. Couldn’t have been more appreciative for them going through such a hard time. I am so thankful to have had a solid team to help us through the entire life of our dog. I can’t recommend this team more. Thank you for all you do!
