Stop taking advantage of minorities in your community!!!!!!!!!nYou are not prepared to handle a service duringncovid, and definitely not on a good day when it’s not a pandemic.nThe entire family was seated together during the funeral, and not per household as stated.nHow do you forget to post the Obit in the newspaper and on your website? Who is following up on your employees?nI would suggest you employ people,nthat would be an asset to your business and the community. Strive to do better!!!nnThis is an addition to the first post.nMy grandmother services were on Nov 20th.nIt’s now Jan and still no death certificate.

If I could give no stars I would. Where do I start smh my brother and his wife were taken from us in a tragic manor on May 30th, 2020 what was a horrible loss for two families seemed to be a money gain for this funeral home. When we came in they knew we would be having a double funeral so pricing was decided and recorded by my aunt who wrote everything down word from word, well the next day the pricing had changed as well as Mr.Davis attitude who then forgot what empathy and sympathy means when arguing with my mom who had lost her only son. So we agreed to their pricing and continued with signing the contract. Mr.Davis soon went on vacation never stating to the family he would not be in attendance to make sure our loved ones funeral went smoothly but instead left two other unprofessional people in charge . My mom went to take all required paperwork to them and followed up the next day and realized my brother’s obituary was incorrect on a few things, when she pointed them out the lady in the office yelled at her and my aunt again no empathy or sympathy when it comes to business smh. Now moving to the viewing we went to see our loved one now I will say they made him look good but his nails were dirty not a biggie but again they maybe should pay attention to detail. Well the other lady Mr.Davis left in charge says to us in the middle of our viewing “hey what time is it, I’m glad you asked we are closing at 5:00 pm and it is five minutes til so just wanted to let you all know that, now our time to be there for the viewing was 4:00pm which was fine but have some compassion once again when dealing with families who have just lost someone in this case two people. Now on to the funeral day my uncle came to get us in a limo because yup you guessed it they didn’t provide any family cars or no cars for that matter so kudos to my amazing uncle for making sure we were good. As we walked in we were told to hurry up and no visiting since we were 5 min behind schedule again being rushed. I also was told by the funeral director I was not allowed to sit next to my husband because of covid yes you read correctly my husband who I kiss, live with and sleep with nightly so as I’m mourning my brother and sister in law I was not able to be next to my husband. At this point I was over them and so was a lot of people so I’m sure their reviews will be posted as well. I even at one point said as we were being seated I’m so sick of this funeral home. If I could give one piece of advice for any grieving family please take your loved one somewhere else where they show kindness, empathy, sympathy and compassion. If you choose this place you are just another dollar sign and business as usual. This was the most unprofessional and saddest experience I have ever had with a place. I hope and pray they never have to experience what they put us through but I will tell you this we won’t do services with them again. Bless anyone who is reading this for if you are reading this you are considering burial for a loved one and my heart and prayers are with you. God bless as for you thatchers learn why you chose this profession and why your attitude is so important for families that just need a little comfort because for you it is business but to that family it is their heart.

We cannot thank Thatcher's funeral home for all the care the attention, and respect that our family received. Dealing with the death of a loved is hard but having Thatcher's there to help plan and assist with the funeral made it easier. Thank you all for what you have done for our family.
