Wester Veterinary Clinic

We had an after hours emergency about three weeks ago and were about two hours from home. Even though we were not current patients a Veterinarian met us in 20 minutes at the office. Marly was on call that night and we absolutely loved her. She took up plenty of time with us and explained everything so well. We had all of our records switched to Wester the next week. I made the 3.5 hour round trip today for an appointment. Well worth the drive and time when you find a Veterinarian that is so helpful and kind. We are glad we made the switch to Wester.

I brought a stray cat I had just adopted to get its wellness exam and all shots needed, nurses were polite but the lady at the desk was very rude and had an attitude. After the appointment I came back about 20 minutes later because I found Ticks on my cat that should have been spotted during the wellness exam, I came in and a lady at the desk just removed them with her hand and then nothing else was said to be done so I left. 20 minutes after that I made my 3rd trip back because I found more Ticks and finally I was recommended the shot that kills the parasites. Why weren’t the fleas noticed during wellness and exam and why did I have to come back 3 times to get recommended the parasite removal? Why was I treated with such attitude and disrespect from the lady at the counter? Spent nearly $150 and feel that what was done wasn’t done the best to their abilities. Beyond dissatisfied they seem to only care about money.

I have been going there for years with my pets. They are caring and treat my pet with the greatest love and caring.

I’ve been taking my dog here since she was born in 2015, along with several dogs I’ve dog-sat over the years, and yet I decided today I would never to that again. The last 3 people I’ve spoken to on the phone because I had a question or needed help to care for my dog were rude and not helpful at all. I can’t go in with my dog for visits anymore understandably due to the pandemic, but how can I trust this clinic to do what they supposed to do and be kind when they are not that way with me? This includes one of the owners. I cannot. I’m done being talked over, begging for details, having to call back because I didn’t get the right info, and trying to trust this place to care for my dog properly.

I love it there really sweet and caring about the animals. I would recommend this place 100%
