Dr. Kevin Fowler is the most awesome vet we have ever consulted, and our sample group includes several countries. His diagnostic skills are impressive, and he is humble, caring and unasuming. Sherry is amazing too, making the expression customer care meaningful again. They truly care about their patients and their families, and everything else follows. The team they have put together could not be any other thing but wonderful. If you need somebody to care for your pets in Atlanta, this is the place.

I have been taking my dogs to Inman Park Animal for around 15 years. Since it has been sold to Southern Veterinary Partners and Sheri and Dr. Fowler apart of it the level of care and the personal attention that made it such a fantastic vet is gone. It is now just a money making machine that is impersonal, impractical and worse unreliable. They have forgotten to give my puppy a vaccine(didn’t realize it until 3 days later when she couldn’t go to a park requiring it). When calling back in to have this cleared up said it would be 3 weeks for me to get another appointment.nnMy oldest dog, one who has only been seen by Dr Fowler was passing blood they said it would be at least 2 weeks before he could be seen and if I don’t find that acceptable I should go to the emergency vet. The previous ownership and staff would have stood on their head to get my dog in at a reasonable amount of time.nnThey all but force you to use their pharmacy which is grossly overpriced and are obviously pushing more expensive medicines for which I am sure they are incentivized to. Beyond that when I asked for only heart worm medication they instead prescribed a flea and tick pill as well and did not realize it until after I had left.(I don’t like the idea of feeding a growing puppy anymore insecticide than I have to). I would much rather use a topical that there is a lot more data on instead of a prescription pill which they obviously can squeeze more money out of you for.nnI am not writing this to be mean spirited but every interaction with them has been negative since under new ownership. It truly was an amazing vet at one point. This company is obviously relying on the name and not the level of service that Dr Fowler provided.

We loved Dr. Fowler. He was amazing and the service was great. But the clinic was sold mid 2020 and ever since, the service and quality of care has been absolutely terrible. They never answer the phone or respond to texts even though those are the only ways to communicate during Covid. The drop off and pick up systems are very inefficient—we’ve waited 30-80 minutes to drop off or pick up our pets and they don’t seem to follow first in/first out. There’s terrible communication between everyone—any conversation you have with the front desk or get techs is completely meaningless because they don’t pass any information on. The vets never read the charts before they see the animals so we end up having the same conversations over and over (so different from Dr. Fowler who always walked in ready to pick up from the last visit.) Every single visit there’s a different story as to why things are so disorganized. We were given a printed out copy of an electronic prescription that needed to be sent from the vet to the pharmacy. No pharmacy would take it because legally they need one that’s hand written unless it comes directly from the vet. They should know this but it took us almost 2 weeks to figure out the issue and get a replacement. Our dog had to get a 1-year rabies shot instead of a 3-year because they couldn’t find her immunization records even though they had been given all her records when we brought her there after adopting her. It’s such a shame that a really great clinic has become so mismanaged in such and astoundingly short time.

Dr. Greener is the absolute BEST! She cares for all of our animals as if they were her own — even when there are tough conversations to be had, we know she has our pets’ best interests in mind. Could not recommend Inman Park Animal Hospital enough

I had a very very good experience! First off Dr. Greener was very patient and incredibly thorough. She took the time to go through tons of his paperwork and really explain it to me in detail. (I was a little frantic because my last experience wasn’t so good and my dog has cancer now). She really took the time to explain things to me and I felt extremely well taken care of. I have a lot of hope. Another thing is my dog was having super bad anxiety and what she prescribed him to take on occasion helped immensely. I would HIGHLY recommend her.
