My family attended a memorial service at the Menomonee Falls location this past weekend. It was incomprehensible that they had virtually no concern for Covid. Masks were not required during visitation. The funeral home staff member that held the door open and handed out programs was not even wearing a mask. You had to pass within inches of him to enter. Small labels on pews suggested people practice social distancing BUT all pews were available. Needless to say, people filled the pews and no direction from staff regarding social distancing was provided. I was appalled at their complete lack of concern for Covid. Our family has used this facility for several family funerals, but never again if I can stop it. At one of the worst days of your life, when you are attending a funeral of a loved one, the facility hosting it shows a lack of concern for the safety of those in attendance. Are they then responsible for Covid spread that may take the lives of other family members because of their lack of precautions?nMenards cares more about their customers than does Schmidt & Bartelt.
