I truly can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Z and the entire staff at Towne Center Animal Hospital. I’ve been experiencing a lot of medical and behavioral challenges with my cats lately, and they’ve been so responsive and professional. Yesterday I was worked in as a walk-in, and they stayed late on what I know was a very busy day for them. Dr. Z never rushes and is so patient with my endless questions. You never feel like he’s thinking about the next animal he needs to see. The techs and other staff are equally friendly, reassuring, and professional. I love how it doesn’t feel sales-y there and estimates are always provided (with signature) before services are completed.
I can't believe how compassionate and understanding their staff is! Dr. Z is a total professional with an amazing bedside manner. You guys made an impossible situation as pain free as possible. You were so caring and understanding and never once rushed me or the process. From the bottom of my and deVon's hearts, thank you ud83dude25
Best vet experience thus far. I had adopted a kitty yesterday and without making an appointment I walked in the animal hospital today and Dr. Z was able to check her out with no issue. He and the nurse was very kind, caring and answered all of my questions which extremely comforted me. She had fleas and a potential parasite and was given medication for both. They handled her very well and I feel more confident on the health of my cat. As I was walking out my cat had pooped in her temporary carrier and the front desk and nurse took her to the back to bathe her and provide her a clean temporary carrier. Everyone at this hospital has been very helpful and I greatly appreciate all their efforts.
2020/10/22- We had taken our cat in for a check up. We were told she was in the first stages of renal failure. With treatment she could live comfortably for the next 8 to 18 months (and perhaps longer). Per their recommendation, we started treatment with fluids. The fluids taxed her system to the point she succumbed to heart failure within 20 hours. The poor care, her pain, and her passing was devastating to the family. We would not recommend this animal hospital to anyone.....................n2020/10/23 - Response from the owner 14 hours agonWe are so sorry for your loss. We understand how difficult it can be to lose a friend of 15 years. We care deeply about our patients, but we cannot make any guarantees about their life expectancy. 6-18 months is a statistical average for life expectancy of cats with chronic renal disease. This diagnosis was made based on symptoms of weight loss, severe loss of muscle mass, and dehydration and it was confirmed by lab results. Unfortunately, heart disease is common even in young cats and is very often asymptomatic, meaning only a cardiac workup could have diagnosed it. Again, we are sorry for your loss and wish you the best.....................n2010/10/24 - Response to owner/animal hospitalnFirst she was family, and not a friend. Second, she was 16, not 15. Lastly, we didn't ask for a guarantee, we understood that aspect. What we don't understand is that we requested any and all information that could help us decide the best course of action and you now communicate heart disease is common. A cardiac work up should have been recommended prior to any treatment. It was not. The treatment ended her life prematurely and painfully. Your statements provide our family more pain as we now know the vet should have recommended a cardiac work up. We do hope you learn from this event as to avoid causing any more families this type of pain.
Absolutely love this place! Dr. Z is incredible as well as the staff! ❤
